Measures of Concrete Batch Plant Dust Control
Writer:Admin Time:25/01/16Concrete bath plant dust control is of vital importance, which is mainly reflected in the protection of the environment, maintenance of employee health and improvement of production efficiency. Effective dust control not only reduces air pollution and health risks, but also reduces wear and tear on equipment, improves productivity, and is an important safeguard for the realization of green and sustainable development of concrete batch plant.
Concrete batch plant dust control measures mainly include the following aspects:
1. Source control
- Selection of low-dust raw materials: Select sand and gravel with low dust content to reduce the generation of dust from the source.
- Pre-treatment of raw materials: pre-treatment of raw materials, such as adding water, humidification, etc., in order to reduce the possibility of dust flying.
2. Equipment and technical measures
- Installation of dust collector: Install dust collector in key parts of the concrete batch plant, such as pulse dust collector, bag dust collector, negative pressure dust collector (with dehumidifying function), etc., to ensure the normal operation of dust collector and timely clean up the collected dust.
- Confined operation:
Seal the main process equipment, pipelines and tanks of the concrete batching plant to minimize dust spillage.
For the parts that can not be completely airtight, set up dust collection hoods and dust removal ports to collect the dust and dispose of it uniformly.
The mainframe part is fully sealed and encapsulated, and the aggregate feeding belt conveyor is also encapsulated with color steel tiles to reduce the probability of dust being discharged into the atmosphere during aggregate conveying.
In the aggregate conveying link, for the parts that are easy to generate dust such as the junction of the upper and lower systems, a retractable sealing structure is used for airtightness.
- Localized humidification:
Add water mist jet pipe in key parts such as cement feeding port for dust suppression.
Add pressurized pumps on the way of water casting in the host, improve the nozzle structure, form a water curtain, and play a role in suppressing the dust generated when casting in the host.
- Set up automatic spraying system:
Set up automatic sprinkler system at the entrance and exit of the material yard and the position of the aggregate silo to prevent the vehicles entering and exiting the material yard from bringing in and taking out the dust and the dust generated in the process of unloading.
The upper part of the silo should also be equipped with sprinkler facilities to prevent the production of dust generated when loading materials.
3. Plant management
- Site hardening: harden the whole concrete batch plant (except the green area) to reduce the dust caused by wind blowing due to the bare site.
- Establishment of closed yard: introduce closed aggregate yard and adopt new building materials hollow brick for the wall, so that the dust when unloading aggregate can not be discharged into the surrounding environment.
- Vehicle management:
Concrete mixer trucks, powder material transportation trucks and gravel material trucks entering and leaving the plant should go through automatic car washers to realize automatic cleaning and prevent dust from being brought out and brought into the concrete batch plant.
Strengthen the management of transportation vehicles to ensure that they do not spill or crush during transportation to reduce the generation of dust.
- Regular maintenance: carry out regular inspection and maintenance of the equipment and pipelines of the concrete batch plant to ensure that the equipment runs well and the pipelines are sealed tightly to prevent dust leakage.
4. Personnel training and system management
- Strengthen the training: Regularly train the workers on dust hazard and protection knowledge to improve their understanding of dust hazard and preventive awareness.
- Develop a management system: develop and improve the concrete batch plant dust reduction management system, clear responsibilities and requirements to ensure that the measures are effectively implemented.
To summarize, concrete batch plant dust control measures need to be controlled from the source, equipment and technical measures, plant management, as well as personnel training and system management and other aspects of the start, the comprehensive use of a variety of measures in order to ensure that the dust is effectively controlled to protect the environment and the health of workers.
