Concrete Batching Plant Equipment List

A concrete batching plant is a complex system consisting of several pieces of equipment, each part of which has a specific function and purpose.
 

The concrete batching plant equipment list and the purpose of its parts are as follows:
I. Main System
- Main Mixing Machine
Purpose: As the core equipment of the concrete batching plant, it is mainly used to mix raw materials such as cement, sand, stone and water to form a uniform concrete mixture.
Remarks: According to the different production capacity, there are various models available, such as small JS500 model to large JS4000 and above models of JS series.
- Material weighing system
Purpose: Accurate measurement of raw materials (e.g. cement, sand, gravel, water, admixtures, etc.) to ensure the accuracy of concrete ratio.
Components: including water weigher, cement weigher, admixture weigher, etc.
- Material conveying system
Purpose: Convey raw materials from the storage location to the mixing machine for mixing.
Components: including belt conveyor (herringbone belt, flat belt and skirt belt), loading hopper and screw conveyor. Among them, belt conveyor mainly undertakes horizontal or inclined material conveying task; loading hopper is generally used in small-scale concrete batching plant; screw conveyor is used for vertical or inclined material conveying.
- Material storage system
Purpose: Used for storing raw materials to ensure the continuity of the production process.
Components: Including cement silo, sand and gravel silo and so on. Among them, the cement silo is generally designed as a sealed container to prevent dry powdery materials such as cement from moisture and caking.
- Control system
Purpose: Centralised control and management of the whole concrete batching plant to ensure the automation and intelligence of the production process.
Components: including computer, monitor, programmable control programme, operation panel, sensors, switching power supply equipment, etc.

II. Other ancillary facilities
- Concrete Mixer Truck
Purpose: Used to transport the well-mixed concrete from the concrete batching plant to the construction site.
- Loader
Purpose: It is used to load raw materials (e.g. sand and gravel) from the yard to the silo of the concrete batching plant.
- Air compressor and storage tank
Purpose: To provide compressed air for the concrete batching plant and drive the pneumatic equipment.
- Various types of concrete presses and testing machines
Purpose: Used to conduct various performance tests on concrete to ensure the quality of concrete.
- Car Washing Machine
Purpose: Used for washing concrete mixer trucks and transport vehicles to keep the vehicles clean and reduce environmental pollution.
